The 50+ New England Housing Council’s purpose is to support the special needs of the National Association of Home Builders members based in or working in New England and involved in or interested in age-qualified/age-targeted housing.

The 50+ New England Housing Council’s mission is to provide members with relevant and contemporary services, programs and information that are most effectively and efficiently delivered on a collective basis.
This includes educational programs; industry research; networking; magazines, books and periodicals; awards and recognition programs; and regulatory and legislative support. The intent of this support is to enhance the capabilities of members about design, development, financing, ownership, management, and sales and marketing of housing activities and projects.
We encourage high quality and professionally built housing specifically designed to meet the demands of the nation’s growing 50-plus population in all market segments (affordable, middle market and luxury).

5. Who may join the Council?
Membership is open to builders, developers, architects, interior designers, sales/marketing professionals, attorneys, real estate agents and brokers, land planners, market researchers, etc. – anyone involved in or interested in this market in New England.
6. What are the membership dues?
Annual membership dues are $125. You must be a member of a local home builders association (HBA) which also makes you a member of NAHB.
Membership is open to all industry professionals in the six-state New England Region: CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT. The 50+ New England Housing Council is your local resource for this growing market segment.
